Remove location and EXIF data from photos
Photos carry where they were taken, the camera, and the time. Remove Metadata strips it before you post or send, and the Share-Safe Photo recipe also resizes in one step.
How to do it
Open the photos or videos in Morph
Choose Remove Metadata
It's on the Tools wheel, or under Tools in the app.
Share the clean copy
The original keeps its metadata; the copy has none.
Where it works
- Mac Photos, videos and audio.
- Windows Photos, videos and audio.
- iPhone and iPad Photos, videos and audio, and in Shortcuts.
- Android Photos, videos and audio.
Free and open source. Everything runs on your device: no uploads, no account, no ads, and your originals are never changed.

What gets removed?
GPS location, camera make and model, dates, and other EXIF, IPTC and XMP fields. The picture itself is unchanged.
Can Morph also hide faces or phone numbers?
Yes, everywhere: Blur Faces and Hide Personal Info cover faces, emails, phone and card numbers in screenshots.
